BluePeak Digital ("we", "us", "our") is a web design and development agency based in South Africa. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have — whether you're contacting us from South Africa or anywhere else in the world.

1. Information we collect

The only personal information we collect directly is what you choose to give us:

• Your name, work email, and company name, when you submit the "Get my free quote" form.
• Whatever you tell us directly if you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or email instead of the form.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site. The dark/light theme toggle is stored only in your browser's memory for the current visit and is not saved, tracked, or linked to you in any way.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and — if you become a client — deliver the work you've engaged us for. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-party processors

Our contact form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service, which receives and forwards your submission to our inbox. Formspree processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy and security practices, available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. We choose service providers who take data protection seriously, but we encourage you to review their policy if you'd like more detail on how they handle data in transit and storage.

4. Data retention

We keep enquiry and client information only for as long as it's needed to respond to you, deliver a project, or meet reasonable business and legal record-keeping needs. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time — see "Your rights" below.

5. Your rights

If you're in South Africa, the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) gives you the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to how it's processed. If you're contacting us from outside South Africa — including from the EU, UK, or elsewhere — we aim to honour equivalent data protection rights (such as those under the GDPR) on request, even where we may not be formally required to.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us, including relying on established, reputable third-party processors for form handling. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we don't collect more than we need, and we don't hold onto it longer than necessary.

7. Cookies

This site does not currently set tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes in the future — for example, if we add privacy-friendly analytics — we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site or our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
